Since our inception in 1932, the mission of the Historical Society of Cecil County, Maryland has been to collect, preserve and interpret artifacts relevant to our county. We operate as a non-profit entity and rely on volunteers to fulfill our objectives.

Strategic Plan

Our Strategic Plan is the document which outlines the Society’s goals, priorities and objects to support and align with our Mission. The Plan is reviewed by our Board of Directors on an annual basis to be sure it continues to be accurate and relevant. The most current version was updated in 2016 and can be downloaded here.
